You don’t need to “toughen up” contrary to what all of the popular fitness messaging has convinced you of. You don’t have to sacrifice all of the things you find enjoyable in life either.

Would you be willing to stick to that plan if you were guaranteed the results would come…because it was actually built specifically for the way YOUR body responds? How confident are you that on your own you know exactly what will get you there in the least amount of time?

You’ve heard before that you can’t outwork bad nutrition. This is true, but both PROPER nutrition and APPROPRIATE training are important for every goal. We think dieting sucks which is why we don’t take that approach. Killing yourself in the gym isn’t getting you the results either. In fact it may even be counter-productive.

This is also why we don’t offer just nutrition coaching or just training plans separately by themselves. Your nutrition and training must be properly balanced. We are offering actual results and these 2 go hand in hand.

ACTIVITY

You may already belong to a fitness club, subscribe to an on demand program or have activities you love. Great! We actually work with the form of activity that you find enjoyable. Love your boot camp, 24hr gym, outdoor activity etc.? Perfect. We do monitor your activity very closely though and will make sure you are not doing too much or too little based on your goals and other life stressors.

WHO NEEDS A COACH

Coaching is appropriate for anyone that wants to maximize their potential. Some people tend to think that coaching is for those that can’t do it for themselves. The answer is actually quite the opposite. Coaching is best for those that hate wasting time, value and are willing to invest in themselves.

 

My name is Patrick and I’m the head coach here at PJ FIT.

I’ve had my own share of struggles over the course of my personal journey. I’ve struggled through the weight loss cycle, at the time not considering weight loss and fat loss were not the same thing. I know the challenges of balancing family/work/life.

I’ve also made my share of mistakes along the way by blindly following information and the popular trends. In fact I ended up doing more harm than good which ended up taking a long time to reverse.

Tired of being steered wrong by the industry I went on a mission to find the facts backed by science. I became a certified personal trainer and specialized in sports performance as well as nutrition. I also worked my way back up to competing at a high level in the endurance sport XC Mountain Biking.

I know how life changing being fit and healthy can be but also how discouraging it can be not knowing if you are on the right track and not seeing progress. My mission is to help guide people down this confusing path so that you can actually achieve the results you desire and not make the same mistakes that I did.
